Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operates assigned truck to pick up, transport, and deliver equipment and/or materials such as aggregate, hot mix, asphalt or dirt.
Secures loads for safe transport in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Works closely with other crew members during pickup and delivery to coordinate work and ensure safety.
Assists with loading and unloading truck as needed.
Performs pre and post trip inspections and ensures that the truck is clean and in safe, proper working order.
Completes documentation for inspections, prorate and other compliance needs.
Reports to dispatch and One Call System when truck needs maintenance or repair.
Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at jobsite.
Follows Supervisor's instructions closely.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Commercial Drivers License is required. Class A License is preferred.
Current DOT Health Card
Tanker Endorsement is preferred.
Understand and adhere to all safety regulations.
Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
An unwavering focus on safety.
OSHA
Ability to speak and communicate in English is required
Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa and Eastern Dakotas.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
Work outside in all weather conditions.
Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Regularly work extended | overtime hours, outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions at all project locations.
Travel is required.
This seasonal, full-time position comes with a strong benefits package including:
