Demonstrated proficiency with standard computer applications .
Systems understanding of ERP, MRP, Quality Control, and Finance .
Demonstrated analytical skills ( General Analytics, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Risk Management, Distribution Management , Operations Planning and Control, etc. ) .

Position Responsibilities Specific PRODUCT ALLOCATION, SHIPPING, AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT
Manage, coordinate, and execute the distribution of products, accessories, and configurations to meet Customer delivery targets.
Effectively meet customer needs and conduct customer interactions professionally at all times.
Respond efficiently to Sales and Support team with shipment and order information impacting the customer.
Provide staff development and cross-training to ensure minimal disruption in the event of the temporary absence from LICORbio of any individual.
Establish achievable short-term and long-range shipping forecasts with Sales & Marketing and the Director of Planning & Logistics to support sales plans and goals.
Establish and maintain procedures for teams under this position's responsibility.
Coordinate any issues that arise between the Shipping group and Sales Correspondents to ensure timely delivery of our product to customers.
Communicate with Finance any issues that may affect collection of payment from customers or other issues that affect the recording of transactions in the General Ledger.
Organize and implement shipment schedules with the Logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries to internal and external Customers.
Coordinate pipeline forecast, new sales growth opportunities, and lead generation activities with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to ensure Manufacturing plans meet quarterly sales targets.
Manage instrument allocations in accordance with customer requested ship dates and coordinate Available to Promise inventory with current inventory levels using Sales Force and other associated systems. Reconcile and gain agreement with Sales, Order Entry personnel, and Technical Sales Consultants on viable ship dates.
May participate in the processing of customer orders (Purchase Orders, Web Orders, Phone Orders, etc.) by way of regular, daily interface with Sales Order Correspondents. Responsibilities include checking details of the address, order consistency with quotations, special shipping conditions, details of the address, order consistency with quotations, special shipping conditions, backorder release, and price accuracy prior to distributing Shipping documents to Shipping personnel.

LOGISTICS OPERATIONS
Oversee processes related to the accurate shipment of products to customers. This includes staging, picking, packing, crating, and labeling customer orders, manuals, publications, spare kits, accessories, and service/repair orders. Ensure all processes comply with shipping regulations and LICORbio procedures to prevent damage to the shipment.
Know, understand, and comply with shipping carriers' requirements for domestic and international shipments by way of DOT and IATA regulations.
Oversee the preparation of Shipping documents and coordinate with carriers, customers, freight forwarders, and distributors. Periodically determine method of shipment and packing materials and methods as required for shipments.
Manage information requests regarding status of incoming orders and shipping date status.
Supervise required labeling of packages and shipments including labeling for Dangerous Goods, Hazardous and Fragile Materials, Stacking restrictions, Flammable, etc.
Supervise all management of Packing Slips and Pick Lists, entering information accurately into LICORbio MRP system and Freight Carrier systems such as UPS/FEDEX.
Oversee the maintenance of all packing and shipping equipment.
Frequently assess shipping methods, procedures, and practices; recommend changes and improvements. Track, monitor, and report all pertinent Key Performance Indicators.
Additional duties within other functions of the logistics department, including potential oversight of receiving or stock room activities.
Ensure inventory Cycle Counts are completed in their respective cycle. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts. Investigate inventory discrepancies and adjust errors by making count adjustments as required. Responsible for maintaining accuracy of inventoried items. Ensure stock parts are appropriately marked, labeled, or otherwise identified using identification tags, stamps, marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
Provide oversight and supervision of picking and kitting operations. Ensure proper rotation of stocked parts and materials.
Identify nonconforming material and generate Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR's).
Ensure personnel examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to Supervisor.
General
Responsible for Salary Administration, Performance Evaluations and Reviews, and providing daily feedback to Planning staff as needed. Approve vacation and time-off requests to maintain optimal departmental performance.
Conduct regular/routine business analysis to understand, recommend, and execute plans for cost containment and reduction, and quality/process improvements.
Commit funds and spending based on direction by Management.
Provide training, guidance, and direction to Planning staff. Lead, guide, and direct in the development of Master Planning systems and procedures.
Operate as a Team Member and/or assume a leadership role on projects, materials requirements planning, IT/computer operations, inventory control, value analysis, and forecasting.
Regularly evaluate and provide input on internal systems impacting Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sales.
