JOB SUMMARY:
The Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for the research, analysis, and distribution of the Forecasted Demand Signal for all current and forecasted Component and Machine Rebuilds in the assigned territory. This includes but is not limited to, Exchange Sales, related inventory flow, Rebuilds, TRP rebuilds, and any other components or Machines included in the Forecasted Demand Signal. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of all shop repair schedules as it relates to the perspective Demand Signal as well as making necessary recommendations for Parts Stocking Levels, Site and Client PCR Schedules, and Shop Labor Requirements. Must be professional, highly analytical, and have excellent communication skills. Must have in-depth knowledge of the organization's internal Service Operations, including Parts, Service, Product Support, as well as any applicable work applications utilized in each of those areas for work management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and control all related areas impacting the Forecasted Demand Signal. Ensure the Exchange Forecasted Demand is fulfilled for the assigned territory.
• Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends, historical demand patterns and real-time machine telematics.
• Conduct monthly/weekly/daily forecast maintenance and Correct and errors as required.
• Collaborate with Service and Parts departments to ensure sufficient support and resources are available to meet forecasted demand.
• Work with organization's Data Team to understand and validate the Forecasted Demand Signal and compare with Parts and Service Metrics.
• Work with internal client-facing team and Clients to create analytical methodology to generate forecast models. Provide data, analysis, and recommendations to support business solutions and strategy development for business.
• Prepare and make recommendations to department leadership based on Demand vs. Capacity analysis.
• Cooperate with personnel in other work centers to build high levels of cross-departmental teamwork and support.
• Develop and execute projects that optimize and further the growth and development of the organization's operations. Manage and support all other projects as assigned by Management.
• Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Communicate and enforce company policies, procedures and regulations.
• Design presentations for internal and external clients and be able to influence clients and department processes.
• Provide factual data to improve internal Inventory component coverage and expenses.
• Communicate to Management on planning and scheduling challenges.
• Work within and promote corporate values.
• Must maintain current MSHA qualification to access client sites.
• Achieve a high level of Client satisfaction.
• Ensure data entry and processes are operationally consistent for reliable data retrieval.
• Document and communicate issues that may impact client satisfaction to the appropriate area.
• Perform other related duties as may be required.
• Works within and promotes corporate values .

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to relate to and communicate with others in a mature, objective, and cooperative manner.
• Must be able to communicate in both oral and written form.
• Must be detail oriented and skilled in analyzing financial data.
• Must be a self-motivated, self-starter, work well in groups and demonstrate excellent internal client service.
• Must have knowledge and experience in process improvement methodologies and or project management.
• Must have sufficient knowledge to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Products, Excel expert level user, DBS database files and DBS queries and report writing, Empire web applications and Cognos financial reporting tool.
• Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming adhere to company policy.
• Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or Marketing; or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in similar role.
• Valid driver's license is required by position.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
