Summary: The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production schedules, ensuring timely delivery to our customers while balancing available resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Monitor production progress, identify and communicate possible delays and taking corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
Coordinate with purchasing to ensure adequate raw material inventory to support production.
Establish contingency plans to minimize production disruptions.
Optimize efficiency by minimizing downtime associated with tooling changeovers.
Proactively communicate stock levels across departments.
Prepare, maintain, and distribute reports related to inventory.
Reconcile inventory counts under direction of management.
Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.
Coordinate with Shipping department to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to support quality control functions.
Follow established policies and procedures.
Able to read, write clearly and perform basic math. Interpret written information/production sheets, work order and production schedule.
Observes safety and security procedures; Reports unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly as trained.
Ability to maintain regular attendance at ASC facility.
Reinforce and maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness by utilizing 5s standards.
Any additional task assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience
BA in Business Administration, Supple Chain Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language/Reasoning Ability/Mathematical Skills
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures. Proficient in SAP or equivalent ERP system. Ability to add, subtract, count in simple units of measurement and or whole numbers. Ability to read, write and speak basic English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out production reports and follow production schedules.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving forklifts and pallets. The employee is occasionally exposed to hot or cold conditions.
