Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with data analyst background. Primary responsibilities include develop, maintain and manage risk reporting data from cradle to grave across multiple data sources (i.e. Fusion, Archer, ServiceNow, Coupa, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Service as the data custodian for risk reporting data, ensuring that data integrity, accuracy and security standards are met.

  • Develop manage, and maintain data extractions, translations, enrichments, and producing required data products for enterprise end users.

  • Collaborate with teams across global locations to design and develop solutions that meets business needs.

  • Work closely with stakeholders and product owner to data roadmap and capabilities supporting the enterprise use cases.

  • Ensure data products are optimized for risk reporting, helping the business users monitor, evaluate, report and action against potential risks.

  • Implement and oversee processes to maintain quality, completeness, and reliability of data through its lifecycle.

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline data workflows and quality controls to improve efficiencies and reduce manual work.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data products processes and standards.

  • Support enterprise data governance standards and initiatives.

  • Support audit requirements and requests.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data management or similar roles.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, and experience working with GRC systems and data structures. Prefer +5 years experience with data structure from Archer, Fusion, ServiceNow, and other GRC platforms.

  • +7 years of experience with cloud technologies including Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.

  • Experience with building data products, prefer risk data products for end consuming applications such as Power BI, or similar analytics / BI platforms.

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and security best practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem skills with data, data lineage, data consumption, etc.

  • Hyperfocused on outcomes and objectives to ensure work is meaningful and aligned to use cases.

  • Independent and self starter, and able to collaborate with teams globally. Able to work off hours as needed to interact with global stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills, with concise and precise explanation on complex technical concepts to non-technical experts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Risk management experience within Financial Services sector.

Salary Range:
$114,500 - 194,700 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
