Music Therapist, Early Intervention at Inspire Diagnostics in Quincy, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Join our team of passionate, dedicated professionals who make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families! Our Step One Early Intervention program provides educational and therapeutic services to children from birth to three years with special needs and provides support and education to their families.

The Music Therapist is responsible for providing home and center-based service to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families within the Step One early Intervention Program. Develops partnerships with families to assist families in understanding and addressing their child's needs and provides consultation to interdisciplinary team members. This position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various sites and towns of Milton, Quincy and Randolph.



Required Skills

• Master's degree in expressive therapy with a focus on music from an accredited recognized educational institution in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a Related Field and "license eligible" for LMFT or LMHC with official written verification by the applicant's accredited educational institution.
• Current valid drivers license required and reliable transportation and travel to various sites in Milton, Quincy and Randolph.
• Eligible for DPH Provisional Certification as an Early Intervention Specialist or DPH Certification as an Early Intervention Specialist.
• Music Therapy Board Certification

Required Experience

• Prior experience working with children ages birth to three and families preferred.
• Must have good time management and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate willingness to grow and learn
• Must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, maintain flexibility and function autonomously.
