The Supervisor Repair Logistics will provide leadership, supervision, and support for the ACT repair department by overseeing inventory and logistics. Optimize customer repair orders, inventory management, and decontamination processes. Ensure returned devices are managed in compliance with established procedures and policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee department activities to maintain operational efficiency and support business and organizational goals. Manage department metrics, analyze, and monitor data, and review findings with management to ensure continuous improvement.
Ensure documentation supporting service, repair and complaint processes is timely and meets requirements.
Assist with future SAP Repair department process implementations and enhancements. Support the implementation and improvement of department systems.
Oversee the validation and troubleshooting of data between ERP, Service Ticketing system, Quality complaints system, and reports/dashboards.
Understand repair forecast demand, customer-owned orders, inventory levels, repair lead time, and capacity.
Ensure materials are issued timely and accurately to work orders and supplier returns.
Ensure accurate inventory management in SAP, including order adjustments and error corrections. Oversee and support inventory responsibilities within the ERP system to maintain operational levels and meet business demands.
Collaborates with project teams to provide prompt support, ensuring the success of projects.
Works to continually refine processes and enhance employee skills in line with training requirements.
Complete annual performance evaluations in a timely manner and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage employee work schedules and overtime, ensuring department compliance with company policies.
Foster effective employee relations and provide coaching and development.
Conduct recurring repair logistics and planning meetings.
Develop Logistics work instructions and conduct department training. Create and maintain SOPs while executing department training.
Adhere to procedures for non-conformance, quarantine, and hold locations, along with proper labeling and segregation of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute plans to maximize repair throughput.
Ability to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
5 years of experience in a manufacturing/logistics environment required.
Leadership experience preferred.
Proficient experience with ERP systems is required, with a preference for SAP.
Experience servicing medical devices or related products preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Knowledge of FDA Quality System Requirements, ISO 13485 Quality System Requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices. Familiar with Bio-hazardous material handling, storage, and disposal.
