The Director, Sales Operations will own, lead, and drive multiple functions within Client Solutions and Success (CS&S).

The Director, Sales Operations will provide operational and analytical support for CS&S, driving efficiencies and performance for the larger team.

The Director, Sales Operations will serve as a cross-functional business partner for finance, operations, billing and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a varied group of individual contributors and managers.
  • Lead a Client Enrichment team - whose responsibility is to execute case requests from sales and client success - toward increased efficiencies and value.
  • Own the relationship, goals, and continued development of Gainsight PX, CS, and Community.
  • Oversee and drive CS&S Communication through Gainsight.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve current processes, with the ultimate goal being improved performance in retention rate (CSM) and efficacy (Training, Advisory).
  • Work with overall CS&S leadership team to set strategy, annual and quarterly team goals, and tracking efforts towards goals.
  • Centralize all reporting and tracking across CS&S teams.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and working to establish a positive rapport, serving as liaison to product, sales, technical support teams, operations teams, etc.
  • Continued overall development and maturation of Customer Operations function.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Skills and/or Certifications:

  • Experience with Gainsight is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience leading a team with strong leadership skills with a drive to coach, support, and develop others.
  • Ideal candidate is a results-oriented self-starter who can effectively influence across multiple role levels, drive priorities, and own outcomes.
  • Ability to manage a geographically remote team of associates in a manner that instills a strong belief in achieving team goals, focuses on preparedness, creates a passion for winning and personal development/growth.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Organized project manager who can work independently and can get work done efficiently and effectively without direct/local supervision in an environment of ambiguity.
  • Strong working knowledge of D&B data, products and systems.
  • Strong history with reporting/dashboarding.
  • Analytical and technical skills to deal with complex issues and ambiguities.
  • Creative and innovative thinker who can look outside of the box in uncovering ways to improve performance and increase operational efficiencies.
  • Customer-centric mentality who creatively looks to solve the needs of our business partners.
  • Show an ownership mindset in everything you do; be a problem solver, be curious and be inspired to take action, be proactive, seek ways to collaborate and connect with people and teams in support of driving success.

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
