JOB SUMMARY

Jabil is seeking a Program Office Director focused on supporting programs for a large Hyperscale customer.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully driving complex, large-scale projects and programs in a fast-paced technology environment. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments to achieve our ambitious goals. Initially this will be an individual contributor role, with potential to grow into managing a team of Program Managers as the account grows.

The Program Office Director has responsibility for leading effective execution of programs to drive aggressively to customer expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and partners. Act as a primary point of contact for program-related matters and communicate program status, risks, and opportunities effectively.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business unit, operations, and sales to ensure seamless integration and alignment of program objectives. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program execution. Develop contingency plans and ensure that appropriate risk management strategies are in place to address potential challenges and uncertainties.

  • Customer Relationship: Develop and manage existing customer relationships globally in conjunction with BU. Establish and maintain communications with both customer personnel and senior management.

  • Solicit ongoing feedback from Business Unit, peers and team members

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Coordinate activities of large teams and keep them focused in times of crises.

  • Goal orientation and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation and holding team accountable.

  • Execute activities against long and short-term objectives to support Jabil’s KPI’s and goals

  • Develop clear, concise and outcome driven plans to support customer

  • Exercise bold and creative thinking to deliver multiple projects and work activities of significant complexity, using leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and influence for high team performance.

  • Ensure all of the project's technological requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.

  • Own recognizing project's Key Success Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints.

  • Own project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation.

  • Be accountable for overall project success - including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management.

  • Be accountable for customer satisfaction / relationship

  • Understand and exceed customer needs and expectations.

  • Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering

  • PMP

  • Proven ability to effectively work across sales, business, engineering, and supply chain

  • 10 years experience rolling out hyperscale programs with customers

  • 20 years experience at major technology companies like Dell, Intel, AMD, HPE, Lenovo, IBM, Meta, or Amazon

·         Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
