Machine Operator at ORBIS Corporation in Rossford, Ohio

Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair ORBIS automated production equipment including, but not limited to, machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics.


• Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.


• Develop and maintain PM programs.


• Develop and maintain inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories.


• Continuously seeking to improve upon existing methods of operation, by research and development to improve our safety, quality, and cost performance.


• Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing overall operational effectiveness.


• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as identified by ORBIS corporate.


• Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance machine operations, forklifts, and general facility maintenance
