Innovation Customer Experience Center - Event Planner Senior
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Event Planner Senior is responsible for planning and executing onsite logistics for customer sales events for multi-location Customer Experience Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning, sales, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for designing engaging and memorable experiences.
How you will make an impact:
Designs and produces conference/event collateral to communicate meeting details including invitations, promotional materials, agendas, newsletters and executive meeting documentation.
Responsible for coordinating event scheduling, calendaring, and logistics.
Develops online registration system information with outside vendor or internally, depending on the complexity of the registration process.
Assists in the preparation of presentations when requested.
Contracts with vendors for event arrangements such as hotels, transportation, activities, etc.
Surveys event participants to solicit feedback to use in enhancing future events, tracking sales outcomes, coordinate calendars for both experience center facilities.
Serve as primary onsite hospitality and logistics contact in Indianapolis and work in coordination with community management teams in Indianapolis and Atlanta Experience Centers. Coordinates with Facilities to ensure the space meets expectations regarding appearance, cleanliness, functionality and overall quality experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Certified Meeting Professional Designation preferred.
