This position supports Operations Department objectives by keeping production equipment operating efficiently. Performs repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specification. The ability to work with both Management and Production Supervision to achieve the Companies production goals. To assure that all maintenance jobs are completed in a timely, safe and responsible manner.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that safety practices are followed. monitors and performs preventative maintenance to assure cost effective maintenance and a scheduled maintenance program to provide maintenance by manufacturers specifications.
Perform repair work on equipments, utilities and systems as assigned by supervisor.
Perform electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, as well as mechanical.
Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used.
Train the maintenance personnel for maximum productivity.
Maintain all equipment manuals, equipment warranties, and tool inventories.
Review work orders to ensure proper documentation.
Direct mechanics s in the use of safety equipment and procedures.
Demonstrate initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities.
Model and maintain high ethical standards.
Follow attendance, punctuality and proper dress rules.
Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.

Education:
High School or GED - Required
Work Experience:
5 Years or more Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment - Required
3 Years or more Pharmaceutical Experience - Preferred

Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled employees engaged in repair and maintenance of equipment. -
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with accuracy and speed; ability to create effective working relationships with employees. -
