Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Loan Documentation Processor as part of Lending Fulfillment in Small Business unit within Commercial Banking Operations. In this role, you will support small business lending by preparing documentation, completing funding, and booking transactions for new origination loans and lines of credit.
Additionally, you will also perform peer review activities, various application maintenance functions and quality review for pre-decision tasks. In this role, you will:
Support the Loan Documentation team in reviewing, documenting, closing, and disbursing loans
Review the most complex legal, appraisal, and title information
Prepare loan documentation, coordinate loan closings, and initiate loan disbursements
Monitor the loan disbursement process and managing the team's pipeline
Perform, train and guide others on complex loans that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation
Ensure compliance with company's policies and procedures as well as updating and creating
Identify and mitigate Loan Documentation risks in accomplishing business goals
Prioritize work and provide day to day work leadership and mentorship to the Loan Documentation team
Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to the immediate Loan Documentation team on generating loans, as well as technical and legal guidance within matters related to loan documentation
Required Qualifications, US:
6+ years of customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of Commercial Banking Experience
2+ years of leadership experience
Ability to interpret and understand of basic loan documents i.e., credit agreements, credit approval documents, security
Ability to interpret and understand legal documents including loan, insurance, and credit documents
Knowledge of key credit terms, such as interest rates, disbursements, loan limits, fees, etc.
Ability to research solutions and utilizing tools such as BLAST, Sales Force, and ICMP
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to consult and maintain cross department relationships
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
