IT System Administrator responsible for the overall administration, maintenance, and support of the Learning Management Systems at Digital Realty. This role ensures that Applications that support Learning and Development functions operate smoothly, meets the organization's training needs, and provides a positive user experience for all learners and administrators.
What you'll do
System Administration:
Manage the LMS system, including user management, and system configuration.
Maintain system security, including user roles, permissions, and data integrity.
Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
Troubleshoot and resolve system errors and user issues.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Stay current with system updates, releases, and best practices.
User Support:
Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting login issues, access issues, and technical difficulties.
Train superusers on features and functionality.
Integration and Reporting:
Build and maintain Integrations with other HR and business systems as needed.
Support business users in building custom reports
Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.[KS1] [MB2]
Collaboration:
Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Collaborate with Talent Management to support their future enhancements.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
What you'll need
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience administering an LMS, preferably Absorb LMS.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of LMS principles and best practices.
Experience with user management, course creation, and system configuration in Absorb LMS.
Knowledge of SCORM and other eLearning standards.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Customer-service oriented with a focus on user satisfaction.
Bonus Points:
Absorb LMS certification.
Experience with Walkme
Experience with other learning technologies.
Knowledge of HR systems and processes.
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
