Job Description:

OPC Pest Services, a trusted company of the Rollins Family of Brands, is rapidly expanding and we are searching for our next Region Sales Manager based out of our Louisville, Kentucky Corporate Office.  This position offers the experienced large territory sales professional the opportunity to mentor our commercial and residential sales team and serve on our executive staff to represent OPC's sales growth across four states.

Responsibilities

OPC Pest Services is a premier provider of pest control solutions across Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Cincinnati and Chicagoland.  Since 1972 we have protected more than just homes and businesses. We have built our reputation on our company’s belief of putting the customer experience first and the Region Sales Manager is key to delivering on this purpose.    This position is the region level executive for leading OPC's sales vision to develop both residential and commercial sales managers and their teams for four states.

 

You will…  


  • Work closely with the Region Manager to ensure that company sales goals are achieved

  • Manage sales activities and implements the organization’s overall strategy for multiple branches within the assigned region

  • Provide strategic focus and planning to develop and retain business

  • Work in the field managing, coaching and providing support to increase sales

  • Monitor performance of the sales teams and branches and re-allocates resources to improve overall results

  • Meet and exceeds sales targets through continuous growth of new accounts

  • Coach branch managers and sales representatives on sales techniques, procedures and standards to help achieve sales targets

  • Identify deficiencies, implements performance improvement plans and oversees progress

  • Work closely with the division leadership team to ensure sales growth and the success of the branches

  • Participate in recruitment, selection and the training of the sales staff within the region

  • Ensure implementation of company programs, initiatives and operational guidelines

  • Participate in manager meetings and training programs

  • Monitor regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Sales and Marketing or related field

  • 3-5 years: sales management experience with a results-driven company

  • 3-5 years: P&L responsibility experience and an acute understanding of expense control strategies

  • 3-5 years: Demonstrated customer relations experience

  • 3-5 years: Proven ability to achieve profitable growth

  • 3-5 years: Mentoring, coaching, motivating and training


  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment after training

  • Must maintain valid driver’s license through life of employment

Must be able to pass criminal history background check and drug screen.   

Must be available to work onsite in the Louisville, Kentucky service area on a daily basis.
