Testing Manager will provide Test & Evaluation (T&E) support to IS Product Owners. Activities include but not limited to conducting comprehensive reviews, analysis, evaluations, and tests of the project's technical capabilities (i.e. system behaviors, processes and interfaces, operational use, feasibility, or practicality of the technology) in each operational environment (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS) to confirm that requirements are correctly implemented as examples.
In this role you will...
Objectives of performing T&E include:
Facilitate early detection and correction of cost and schedule variances
Enhance management insight into process and product risk
Support project cycle processes to ensure compliance with regulatory, performance, schedule, and budget requirements
Validate the project's product and processes to ensure compliance with defined requirements
The contractor must ensure appropriation coordination with Government verification and validation POC, as applicable through iterative UAT as a feedback mechanism.
Activities must include:
Developing CT/UAT plans
Assisting with coordination and scheduling CT/UAT events
Documenting and consolidating test results
Reviewing test event associated artifacts are accurate (pre and post release announcements)
Each test must include the operational environment (as close as possible), consisting of any hardware, software, interfacing applications and systems, documentation, operators, and user experience to ensure that the product is well-engineered, and is able to be deployed and developed in accordance with DoD requirements per industry best practices.
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of related experience related to project/program management and program integration
Excellent communication, written and verbal
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe PDF
Ability to handle stress and management multiple priorities
Ability to complete other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Master's degree or equivalent work experience
Certification Requirements:
PMP desired
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active DOD Secret Clearance
Other Requirements:
May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
Requires ability to consistently perform repetitive tasks including filing and scanning
May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
Effective verbal and written communication skills
