In this role you will...
The Requirements Manager, Sr. is responsible for gathering the requirements of specific applications and epics/user stories. This must include planning, scheduling and communication with stakeholders and users to ensure projects are deployed to production environments in a controlled manner to minimize risk. The vendor must document all knowledge and activities within the DI2E JIRA and Confluence, or similar capability, instantiations for this project.
Other Activities include:
SharePoint 365 development and design
Keeping track of changes in requirements and fostering communication with stakeholders from the start of a project throughout the engineering lifecycle
Development of documentation describing component build/installation/configuration
Document requirements including requirements submission, validation, evaluation, and determination.
Ensures the SRET recommendations are appropriately communicated to DCSA Leadership.
Submit proposed suggestions and solutions to the System Requirements Evaluation Team (SRET)
Solicit feedback from the requirement management team and communicates justifications provided by the SRET
Provide transparent tracking of requirements with accurate status changes
Maintain the systems requirements tool for centralized and automated means of gathering formal suggestions for system improvements or new feature
Maintain reporting and documentation throughout Requirements Submission and Review lifecycle; tracks and reports on final status of all submissions
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of related experience specifically managing government contracts.
Excellent communication, written and verbal
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe PDF
Ability to handle stress and management multiple priorities
Leadership and personnel management including subcontractor management
Ability to complete other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Master's degree or equivalent work experience
Certification Requirements:
PMP desired
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active DOD Top Secret (TS) Clearance
Other Requirements:
May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
Requires ability to consistently perform repetitive tasks including filing and scanning
May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
Effective verbal and written communication skills
