Summary:
As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for variety of Accounting department functions. This role is measured upon the ability tobuildout andsupport SaveOnSPs vision and core values while ensuring SaveOnSP is committed to delivering exceptional customer service to our clients and patients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparation of month end financial statements, including journal entries, month end close, and account reconciliations with proper cutoff within NetSuite SystemManage and prepare extensive financial reconciliation processesAssist with preparation of monthly financial statement package within NetSuite systemPrepare analysis and analytics on balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly, quarterly, annuallyNetSuite Administration Support with an emphasis on NetSuite accounting functionsReview calculations of broker commission and corresponding accrual within NetSuite systemBudget and Forecasting Support Expense management and focusIdentify opportunities for development and refinement of performance metrics and reporting within NetSuiteAssist with financial statement and retirement plan auditsManage corporate tax registration, compliance, and filings. Coordinating with the Controller on outside tax accountant requests.Fixed assets tracking and depreciation calculation within the NetSuite Fixed Asset platformEstablishing and maintaining internal controlsEvaluation, creation, and maintenance of SOPs, both company-wide and within department, with an emphasis on internal controlsLearn, understand, follow, and enforce all company and clients policies and procedures.Responsible for insurance policy tracking renewal and document preparationPrepare ad-hoc requests and analysisAssist with transaction processing throughout multiple companiesServes as a point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to the Finance Team and other executive team members, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature. Prioritizes and determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgment to reflect the Finance Teams style and organization policy. Ability to create and encourage positive interactions with employees, vendors, and customersProvides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" roles, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the Finance Team and Executive Team, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support within the OrganizationShare information, knowledge and experience with other team members, refining concepts, and conclusions where appropriate as an internal thought leaderMaintain confidentiality of the organization and client informationFollow all applicable government regulations including HIPAAMaintain accuracy, productivity and quality standards as established by managementShare information, knowledge and experience with other team members, refining concepts and conclusions where appropriate as an internal thought leaderCommunicate confidently and effectively with peers and all levels of team members within SaveOnSP and client organizationsIdentify and pursue personal career development opportunitiesAll other duties and projects as assigned

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is essential.Ability to deal with internal and external customers in a manner that shows professionalism.Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systemWorks well with others both within SaveOnSP and with our customers and all levels of personnel; able to cross many departments to get answers to questions and research products.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work effectively and professionally in a team environment and independently.Ability to self-start and problem solve
Educations/Experience:
Bachelor's degree required, masters degree preferredCPA license requiredRequired experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systemMinimum 3-5 years of related accounting and finance experience
