Group Leader, Final Assembly - Off Shift

The Midwest Operations of ALTEC Industries, Inc. has openings for Group Leader in Final Assembly. The positions will be for Off Shift.

To be considered for this position a person must have the following skills and qualifications:

• 2 years of Altec experience required


• Final assembly experience preferred


• Leadership / team building qualities


• Demonstrated inter-personal communication skills


• Good communication skills both written and verbal


• Good work record (safety, performance, quality, etc.)


• Knowledge of Final Assembly


• Knowledge of chassis and unit operations, including operating hybrid chassis, preferred


• Knowledge of Altec Standards and Processes


• Proven ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and make decisions


• Experience in Access, Word, and Excel programs, preferred


• Oracle Experience

• Provides evidence in the application or attached resume that they possess the required qualifications for the job posting


• has not been hired or selected for a position within the last twelve months (excludes career path promotions)


• has no current Level 2 disciplinary action during the past 12 months


• has received an overall score that is at least a Fully Meets Standards on his/her last performance appraisal
