We are currently seeking a Sr. Program Manager-Supplier Development. This is an opportunity to work anywhere within commuting distance of a Medtronic site.

As the Sr. Program Manager- Supply Development at Medtronic, you will drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Blue Yonder Luminate Control Tower Supplier Portal, collaborative technology, and related processes within the organization. This critical strategic role will have high visibility as part of the overall Supply Chain evolution-an exciting time for our organization.

You will:


  • Lead the expansion of the Blue Yonder Luminate Control Tower (LCT) with critical suppliers.

  • Standardize the process development for seamless communication and information sharing between Medtronic and its suppliers, facilitating faster problem-solving and joint innovation.

  • Align with Global Supply Management and Global Material Planning to develop processes with suppliers that enhance transparency and the ability to identify and address bottlenecks.

  • Act as the key liaison with the Data Analytics team to develop dashboards to analyze supplier data and identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Drive adoption and utilization of LCT with Medtronic's Material Buyers/Planners within Operations Scheduling.

  • Leverage AMPS/ Blue Yonder technology to improve supply chain best practices to deliver MDT KPIs related to Inventory, Backlog, and Service.

  • Manage short-term projects or detailed analyses (including coordinating cross-functional teams) supporting supplier collaboration processes.

  • Lead or participate in process improvement projects to improve Supply Chain performance.

  • Participate and support the development and materializing of the company's supply chain strategy

Must-Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of program or management experience in Supply Chain or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain.

Nice to Have


  • Experience using Blue Yonder Supply Planning Systems and GSC Analytics

  • Prior experience in Global Supply Management or Materials Buyer/Planner Roles

  • Demonstrated results in developing and delivering on supply chain strategy, for example, service improvement, inventory optimization, or supplier reliability improvements.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor Planners at various levels

  • Ability to understand key business concepts and communicate with business stakeholders

  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and to manage multiple priorities with competing demands

  • Strong analytical, data processing, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in process formulation, process improvement, and project management

  • Experience building relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence

  • Experience in data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs

  • Ability to translate business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects

  • Knowledge of planning procurement functions with strong financial acumen

  • Ability to overcome ambiguity, imperfect data, and the limits of process definition to achieve exceptional and timely results

  • Medical Device or other regulated industry experience

  • Work experience in a large, matrixed organization structure

  • Experience developing and implementing change initiatives requiring collaboration and influence management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$130,400.00 - $195,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others)

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
