Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $48.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Physical Security Technology Manager
This position is contract to potential hire on a W2 hourly rate
Onsite in Philadelphia, PA - MUST be local


MUST have CCURE 9000 experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the CCure 9000 Security System as needed.


• Oversee the Employee Identification Card process.


• Ensure all employees have appropriate access levels assigned.


• Create and delete door groups and access levels as necessary.


• Routinely audit the system to ensure components are appropriately named, functioning correctly, and relevant.


• Provide training to security staff in the use of the CCure system as necessary.


• Provide access control logs to customers when appropriate.


• Maintain and update the Cognyte Video Management System (VMS) as needed.


• Work with contracted vendors to ensure all VMS cameras are operational and recording per departmental standards.


• Ensure all video wall displays in security command centers are operational and staff are knowledgeable in their use.


• Provide video review of recorded footage for customers when appropriate.


• Lead or support project management related to the installation of security technology.


• Coordinate with the Facilities Project Management and Construction team for the installation or removal of security technology related to construction projects.


• Direct contracted vendors on security technology installation projects initiated by the Security Department.


• Assist the Assistant Director with the scope and design of new security technology equipment for the institution.


• Recommend new technology to meet the institution's security demands and stay current with industry standards.


• Oversee the authorization and distribution of physical keys for the institution.


• Review and authorize all requests for physical keys.


• Ensure all key requests are processed by the Facilities Department.


• Distribute new keys to the responsible individuals.


• Manage all other departmental-specific software and technology hardware.


• Support departmental leaders in ensuring all technology is functioning correctly and software is up to date.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience with Physical Security Principles and/or Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems in a networked environment.


• Ability to operate a company vehicle.


• Prior experience with an IP-based Video Management System.


• Ability to respond to emergency calls 24/7.


• Effective verbal and written communication skills.


• Good organizational skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience implementing Physical Security Technology and devices, as well as researching new/emerging Physical Security technology.


• Minimum of two (2) years of project management experience related to technology installation and/or system upgrades.


• Technical proficiency with Software House CCure 9000 is strongly desired.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
