Field Service Engineer - Hardware at The Judge Group Inc. in new orleans, Louisiana

Location: New Orleans, LA

Salary: $60,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer - Hardware to work hybrid/remote in the greater New Orleans, LA area!


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• General support activities and technical assistance including on sight and remote support.
  
  


• Prioritize and complete work tasks for the assigned service trip or project.
  
  


• Identify and report incidents, improvements, and needs to Service Manager.
  
  


• Carry out service and support for our equipment and customers.
  
  


• Maintain certifications through yearly online certification tests.
  
  


• Develop qualifications by participating at internal / external courses and education.
  
  


• Follow up with appropriate technical department after service jobs.
  
  


• Technical assistance to Sales & Marketing and Aftersales.
  
  


• Commissioning work on new builds and upgrades to existing installations.
  
  


• 
  Up to 50% travel for service trips to vessels, shipyard, and other customer sites.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 50% in/around the greater New Orleans and Gulf areas


• Experience conducting technical support and field service work in maritime environments


• Hardware support experience


• Valid TWIC highly preferred


• Valid Driver's License


• Be customer orientated and "service minded"


• Cooperative with ability to work in teams


• Flexible, responsible, and dependable
  
  


• Associates Degree in Technical Discipline preferred
  
  


• Must be able to pass Fit for Duty
