Role


As a Business Analyst II you are responsible for improving and optimizing processes and systems within the Supply Chain Management team. Along with supporting the processes, people, and systems, you will use your in-depth analytical skills to provide accurate, complete, timely, and insightful reports and analyses. More specifically, you are responsible for developing business processes and tools necessary to prioritize, monitor and report on Crown Castle supply chain management performance. Furthermore, take on an active role in managing programs aimed at improving compliance, innovative projects, and decision-making. As a member of the organization, you will conduct complex analyses with the aim of providing accurate insights and have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with the goal of educating key stakeholders on how to properly use your models, process, and tools to execute effectively.


 


Responsibilities



  • Supports the implementation of supply chain management process improvement projects to achieve desired results

  • Analyze stakeholder needs, identify gaps, identify risks and define capabilities for an acceptable solution to complex supply chain obstacles.

  • Track and report project progress, using standard methods and procedures to monitor critical project blockers and issue reports to inform appropriate stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings with directors, managers, and other team members to keep projects on track

  • Work independently and directly with supply chain functional and area teams to improve complex data pipelines and provide process improvement guidance when needed

  • Date Stewardship of Supply Chain master data management

  • Establish strategy and tools along with associated SOPs to prioritize investment decisions and demonstrate program/project progress. 

  • Partner cross-functionally on process and tools to enable proper governance with the goal of increased revenues, cost avoidance, and speed to market

  • Develop and deploy Power BI reports and analysis on multiple projects/programs in parallel that is accurate, complete, and properly summarized to aid in senior management decision making

  • Responsible for querying and summarizing data from JDE, Oracle, CRM, and other corporate systems

  • Establish strategy and tools along with associated SOPs to prioritize investment decisions and demonstrate program/project progress. 

  • Produces weekly, monthly, and quarterly trend and activity reports as well as other supply chain management operational and management reports. Ensures that reports are produced per scheduled timelines for review by functional senior management teams


 


 Expectations 



  • Understands fundamental Process Improvement concepts, practices and procedures at a broad level, has yet to acquire in-depth knowledge or experience in specific areas of specialization

  • Ability to summarize large amounts of complex data into management reports

  • Strong knowledge of JDE / Oracle and other data analysis and financial ERP tools

  • Data visualization design and best practices

  • Expert ability to problem solve to determine root causes of anomalies

  • Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and work well under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and team first mentality


 


Education/Certifications  



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related quantitative discipline 


 


Experience/Minimum Requirements  



  • Two plus (2+) years’ experience in supporting process improvement projects

  • 3 plus (3+) years supply chain management, business intelligence, financial and operational reporting experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present complex information in a clear and simple format. 

  • Ability to manage and process multiple workstreams

  • Functional expertise in of supply chain management disciplines

  • Extensive experience in requirements gathering, scope drafting, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and achieving objectives on schedule

  • Strong foundational knowledge of MS Excel (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts) including experience building complex financial models

  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships.

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday.  On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
