We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our growing Energy team in Peachtree Corners, GA. In this role, you will support a variety of energy projects, including oil and gas, fuels, renewables, and power delivery systems such as substations and electrical distribution networks. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for creating accurate electrical drawings and designs using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Electrical for energy projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for energy-related projects, including power distribution, oil and gas facilities, renewables, and fuels infrastructure.
Produce electrical drawings and models in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Electrical, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other design team members to create solutions that meet project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Follow company design and drafting standards to produce high-quality work and maintain consistency across all project documentation.
Revise and update designs based on engineering input, client feedback, and field changes.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
Assist in troubleshooting electrical design issues and recommend practical solutions.
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawings, reports, and calculations.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Designer, with a focus on energy projects such as oil & gas, fuels, power delivery (substations, distribution), or renewables.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design and drafting.
Solid understanding of electrical design principles, including power distribution and electrical systems for energy facilities.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment, demonstrate a positive attitude, and contribute to group success.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on producing efficient and effective design solutions.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate designs.
Ability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.

Additional Information
Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Designer I with a salary range of $58,700.00 - $86,400.00 .
