BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Commercial Operations Manager to our Vascular Intervention team. The Commercial Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting the commercial strategy and operations of BIOTRONIK's Vascular Intervention Division. This position will involve driving cross-functional initiatives, managing sales, marketing, business development and operations processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of commercial activities that support business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial operations and/or sales operations, a solid understanding of the medical device industry, and a strong ability to analyze data, manage projects, and collaborate with multiple departments.
Your Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Execution:
Support the development and execution of commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Coordinate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on commercial goals.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to commercial activities.
Support development of Business Plans and Needs Assessments for VI Programs and Initiatives.
Sales Operations:
Support managing the end-to-end sales operations process, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance of the sales team.
Ensure the alignment of sales efforts with company objectives, ensuring timely and effective go-to-market strategies.
Sales Enablement:
Analyze market trends, sales performance, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.
Develop and deliver customized and comprehensive reports on sales activities, revenue generation, product performance, and market trends to sales leadership.
Utilize other tools to track sales metrics, monitor progress, and make data-driven recommendations.
Assist in developing Sales Incentive Programs / Competitions
Support National and Regional Sales Meetings as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with sales strategies and customer needs.
Coordinate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure that customer demand is met efficiently and that the inventory aligns with sales projections. Manage inventory optimization for VI Business unit.
Supports Sales and Medical Education Program planning and execution of events.
Supports Industry Tradeshows as needed.
Process Improvement & Project Management:
Identify opportunities to streamline commercial operations processes and improve efficiency across the organization.
Lead or participate in special projects aimed at improving commercial performance, such as new product launches, territory expansions, inventory reconciliations etc....
Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between departments to optimize the overall commercial effectiveness.
Your Profile
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, marketing or business management, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales/operations management software.
Strong understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
Skills:
Exceptional project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
