Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Tampa Bay, FL. This is a full-time, on-site position with no remote or hybrid schedules. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of estimating experience with commercial general contracting companies that focus on federal projects.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for federal construction projects.


• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.


• Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with project costs.


• Maintain and update cost databases and historical data for future reference.


• Participate in bid reviews and presentations to clients.


• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards in all estimates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience with commercial general contracting companies working on federal projects.


• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.


• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
