Our client is seeking a MQ Hub Admin in Denver, CO.


Role Description


About the Role:
This MQ Hub Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the MQ (Message Queue) infrastructure within an organization.


Responsibilities:
• Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade MQ components and environments.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize the performance of MQ systems to ensure efficient message processing.
• Monitoring and Management: Monitor MQ queues, channels, and services to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to MQ infrastructure and services.
• Collaboration: Work with development and operations teams to support middleware initiatives and ensure seamless integration.
• Security: Implement and maintain security measures for MQ environments.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of MQ configurations, procedures, and best practices.


Skills & Requirements


Must Haves:
• 7+ years of experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Middleware Technologies: WebSphere MQ, ActiveMQ, MB/IIB9, MQ Appliance
• Application Servers Apache Tomcat, Web sphere Application Server
• Configure secure connections using SSL/TLS to encrypt communication between clients and the broker.]
• Experience on Creation of broker and Execution groups.
• Experience in bar file deployments and handling message flows.
• Worked on JVM heap memory issues on execution groups
