Job Summary
Registered Staff Nurse for the Center of Perioperative Care.


We currently have an exciting opportunity for RNs to work in our Center for Perioperative Care! We are looking for full-time staff with a schedule of 40 hours per week (4-10 hour shifts, Day/Evening rotation).



Qualifications


The expert team at Massachusetts General Hospital's Center for Perioperative Care provides every patient with all of the necessary information to ensure a stress-free and comfortable care experience. The RNs deliver care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients who are 16 years and older.


  • Prepares patients for surgery/procedures and provides Phase I and II recovery care.

  • Nurses rotate through the Pre-Procedure Evaluation (PPE) Program assessing pre-surgical and procedural patients whose ages range from pediatric to geriatric.

  • Our dynamic RN team assesses all age groups, including pediatrics, by our PPE Phone Program.

Requirements for an CPC RN:




  • Be a licensed RN in the state of Massachusetts.

  • 2+ years experience as practicing licensed nurse.

  • Minimum of 1 year Acute Surgical Care experience.

  • Recent Surgery, Med Surg, PACU, and Intensive Care experience, preferred.

  • Require a BSN degree.

  • Seeking a multi year dedication
