Job Summary
Per diem speech language pathologist to cover out-patient and acute care; at least one weekend (or two split weekend days) per month is required.
Work collaboratively with our dynamic speech pathology team to evaluate and treat adults with complex dysphagia needs, as well as patients with aphasia and cognitive-communication disorders. Participate in daily collaboration with nursing, hospitalists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. You will be a valuable member in a collaborative rehab team committed to providing evidence-based practice and comprehensive care.
At least one year of acute care experience preferred. We are excited to launch the new FEES modality in our department this past summer!

Qualifications
Experience Minimum Required
• Minimum one year as a Speech Pathologist in an acute care setting or if no experience, supervised graduate school placement in acute care setting.
• Experience with speech, language, cognitive-communications and swallowing disorders.
Experience Preferred/Desired
• Over 3 years as a Speech Pathologist
Education Minimum Required
• Masters Degree in Speech/Language Therapy or Communication Disorders
Licensure and/or Certifications Required
• NH Speech Therapist Licensure
• AHA or ARC BLS within 2 weeks of hire
• CCC
