Job Description:

Summary/Objective

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace and defense projects. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering, specifically in providing engineering and Class Desk support. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in NAVAIR Airworthiness and Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes, with a proven ability to manage complex C4I systems, develop Statements of Work (SOW), and conduct Technical Evaluations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Class Desk and Integrated Product Team (IPT) support for assigned programs.
• Manage the development and maintenance of program-specific projects, including web-based tools such as the MQ-9 Organic Support Equipment website.
• Oversee Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and management using MS Project.
• Coordinate and respond to data calls, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to IPT and PMA leadership.
• Collect, organize, and disseminate meeting minutes, ensuring all action items are addressed.
• Serve as the MUX Interface Control Working Group Manager, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Facilitate meeting coordination, including managing DISS visit requests and scheduling reservations.
• Support the development of Statements of Work (SOW), technical specifications, and conduct technical evaluations.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, or a related environment, with a focus on engineering and Class Desk support.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with NAVAIR Airworthiness and SETR processes, particularly for UAS platforms.
• Proven ability to master and support complex C4I systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing Statement of Work, Engineering Change Proposals and technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year experience in schedule development and management using MS Project

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
