Boeing is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) for our Jacksonville, FL facility. This role is critical in supporting the material and logistical needs of the P8, F18, and KC46 programs at the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) site. The Supply Chain Specialist will serve as a key liaison among onsite customers, external customers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet operational requirements. Responsibilities include managing material receipt issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions, analyzing inventory data to resolve discrepancies, maintaining accurate records to support operational readiness, and coordinating shipping activities with government entities and the managed 3PL warehouse to ensure compliance and timely delivery

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Jacksonville FL.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Acts as a liaison among onsite customers, external customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
  • Supports the material and logistical needs of the P8, F18, and KC46 programs at the MRO site.
  • Manages material receipt issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Analyzes inventory data to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records to support operational readiness.
  • Works with 3PL providers on inventory issues to ensure supply chain efficiency.
  • Coordinates shipping activities with government entities and ensures compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Addresses and resolves grief requirements to support seamless program operations.
  • Optimizes the execution of the supply chain by balancing inventory, supply orders, and schedule demand.
  • Monitors supplier performance and relationships to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks and issues within the supply chain.
  • Initiates supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.


Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
  • 4+ years' experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.


Typical Education/Experience:
  • Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.


Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 63,750 - 86,250
