The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to two C-level Executives. This role is expected to interact professionally with a diverse group of external and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize workload, and recommend changes in office practices or procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedules and organizes meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and conferences
Maintains the overall operating cadence for the business
Responsible for creating and submitting expense reports in a timely manner following company guidelines
Establishes, develops, maintains and updates digital files
Handles confidential and non-routine information
Prepares for and receives Visitors/Vendors to Vertiv
Maintains the core values of the company and fully integrates into the high performance culture
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8 years' experience providing support to Executive-level management
Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
Bachelor's degree required
Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization
Proactive in their approach, foresees issues or opportunities and makes recommendations to the leaders being supported
Ability to take responsibility and deliver results with a spirit of innovation and strong commitment to excellence
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Strong attention to detail in all work assignments
Must demonstrate efficient time management skills managing your own time as well as optimizing the executive's schedule.
Proactive in identifying and resolving issues with minimal guidance.
Strong business acumen to understand the industry, company goals, and the executive's strategic priorities
Excellent computer skills; proficient and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research abilities. Knowledge of MS SharePoint, Chrome River and /Frosch Travel a plus
