The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Organization & Team Overview

CXSO (Customer Experience Strategy and Operations): Focused on delivering a reliable, end-to-end experience for our customers while empowering frontline teams to drive loyalty through best-in-class operations, innovative tools and technology, and seamless omnichannel experiences centered around the Net Promoter System (NPS).
SIO (Strategy, Innovation and Optimization): Within CXSO, SIO leads efforts to:


  • Enhance engagement with Unrivaled Customer Experience

  • Simplify customer and teammate experiences through standardized policies and processes

  • Meet financial targets by reducing customer service contacts, driving digital engagement, and optimizing deployment of products and services

  • Improve overall service reliability and experience perception

  • Create genuine, effortless interactions that foster customer and teammate satisfaction

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation to deliver a high-quality end-to-end customer experience

Role Description

As a CXSO Strategy, Innovation and Optimization teammate, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to contribute to key projects that support our goals in enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include supporting initiatives that simplify service interactions, improve troubleshooting processes, and enhance our ability to deliver seamless product experiences. You'll gain hands-on experience in analyzing customer interactions, developing strategies to reduce customer effort, and supporting continuous improvement efforts that drive operational excellence.

Serving our customers and teammates is at the heart of everything we do. As a member of our team, you will play an active role in shaping the customer experience by working on initiatives to enhance service quality, simplify customer interactions, and support digital engagement efforts. You'll help create strategies to reduce customer friction, streamline troubleshooting processes, and contribute to projects that improve the overall service journey.

Preferred Skills



  • Microsoft Excel: Analyze and visualize data from the National Reporting Database using formulas, pivot tables, and charts


  • Microsoft PowerPoint: Create clear, visually appealing presentations to communicate insights and project impacts to executive stakeholders


  • Smartsheet: Track and manage actions and follow-up steps across cross-functional teams


  • Project Management: Organize executive meeting notes, maintain action and decision registers, and track project milestones


  • Preferred Majors: General Business Administration (e.g., Marketing, Management), Analytics, Finance.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements


  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
