About the position


Our summer internship program allows you to learn more about Human Resources, the electrical construction industry and our business before beginning your career after graduation. The HR Intern supports key HR functions such as onboarding, employee engagement and compliance. You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop skills that will prepare you for a career in human resources.

Day in the life
  • Assist with HR initiatives and projects, such as HR Committee objectives or engagement activities.
  • Support onboarding processes and maintenance of employee records.
  • Help process employee changes (e.g. promotions, transfers) in HR systems.
  • Conduct audits of HR documents to ensure compliance
  • Participate in the planning of company events
  • Coordinate communications for announcements or event updates

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
