The Comcast Cooperative Experience co-op/internship Program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Comcast Corporation works alongside all business units to cohesively join all areas of the Comcast business portfolio. Our team works on treasury functions developing and delivering new ways to fund businesses and to ensure that Comcast remains in good financial health.

Role Description

The Corporate Treasury team is diverse in background and professional experience with colleagues from many areas of the world as wells as multiple industries. Collaboration is paramount where all team members wear many hats. As treasury professionals, we are a responsible for the capital structure of the entire organization, we are stewards of cash, and managers of risk. The team's actions impact financing decisions from the smallest scale (credit terms and cost of capital) to the largest (debt capital market financing of a multi-billion-dollar acquisition). We manage risk, work closely with banking partners, and trade financial derivatives and foreign exchange.

As a Corporate Treasury Co-op you will play an important role in supporting all the above functions using your acquired knowledge to analyze markets and peers, contribute on projects, and learn day-to-day treasury functions. Your work will be visible to the CFO and Treasurer while reporting to senior members of the Treasury team.

What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

In your role you will work closely with analysts and managers to help support business decisions that will affect Comcast as a whole. You will spend time learning about cash forecasting, supporting our derivative portfolio, and helping to ensure we have a health balance sheet.

You will be working with an experienced team as we tie all treasury functions across the businesses ensuring that we take advantage of funding opportunities. Success in this role is characterized by detail orientation, a team first attitude, and passion for corporate finance.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cost of Capital Modelling

  • Interest Expense Forecasting

  • Debt Reporting

  • Cash Forecasting

  • Derivative Analysis and Reporting

  • Capital Deployment Analysis

  • Capital Market Settlements

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills

  • Analytical Mindset

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Basic Understanding of 3 Financial Statements

  • Persistent and Willingness to find Solutions

  • Preferred Majors: Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
