This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Under the I&I Team and Corporate Communications, the I&I Communications Team seeks to enhance Comcast's reputation as a good corporate citizen. We are charged with developing, executing, and amplifying communications & storytelling efforts related to Comcast's Project UP (digital equity) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) commitments, including but not limited to communications plans, articles and blogs for the corporate site and internal channels, event communications, executive communications, media, messaging, multimedia, decks, social media, and surveys submissions.

Role Description

Do you want the opportunity to apply your communications, journalism, & marketing skills to create positive impact? As an Impact & Inclusion Communications co-op, you'll be part of a team working to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR), strengthen our communities, and advance DE&I initiatives.

In this role, you'll work with smart, passionate communicators across the company to help shape Comcast's annual Impact Report, craft compelling partnership announcements, support our DE&I Speaker Series, and more.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Write and upload stories to our Intranet, and complete writing assignments for other channels such as social media, newsletters, and the corporate website.

• Draft a monthly DE&I newsletter for internal DE&I stakeholders across Comcast and NBCUniversal.

• Draft quarterly DE&I leadership profiles for the corporate site.

• Help with the communications and project management for Comcast's annual Impact Report.

• Provide executive communications support including managing a speaking engagement tracker and draft executive speaking briefs.

• Provide event support for Impact & Inclusion hosted events, as needed (e.g., all team meetings, DE&I Day, Project UP Summit).

• Copyedit and format communications content, as needed.

• Manage relationship with 3BL vendor.

• Design content using Canva, as needed (e.g., calendar invitations).

• Admin tasks, as needed (e.g., taking meeting notes, transcribing speeches, tracking projects, cataloging and archiving photography, etc.)

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

• Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.

• Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

• Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
