YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

The Herff Jones Cap and Gown team, based in Champaign IL, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact:

Reporting to the supervisor of Customer Service, The Accounts Receivable Representative supports our customers and Sales Reps and Herff Jones Credit/Accounts Receivable Department to assist with credit/invoicing. The AR Rep is responsible for processing credits for returned graduation apparel. They make necessary corrections to invoices and commission statements on billed orders. They also apply payments to accounts as needed, maintain the customer tax exempt certificate file, and flags any financial discrepancies.

Expected Key Accomplishments:

• Processing graduation apparel returns for credit in a timely fashion
• Correct invoices and commission statements on billed orders
• Processing invoices for our customers and Sales Professionals in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and with Corporate AR to address and resolve issues
• Maintain tax exempt certificate file
• Participate in training and seminars as required
• Team up with office staff, providing assistance as needed in AR matters
• Additional tasks as required to support overall company objectives

Education /Technical Skills Required:

• Experience with Account management software and Office Suite.

Physical Demands/Essential Functions:

• Work long hours during peak season.
• Sit at a computer for 8-12 hours/day, five days a week and possibly Saturdays.
• Type on a keyboard and perform other basic office tasks.
• Speak clearly and audibly on the telephone in English.
