Job Summary
In this role, you will lead the Lean practitioner team in service of supporting our employee benefits department in developing a culture of continuous improvement, refining management system effectiveness, and delivering operational results through structured problem solving and data-driven decision making.
Works with the Director Lean Practitioner to influence operational excellence strategy and create visibility to divisional progress and obstacles.
Lead the Lean Practitioner team, providing guidance on the prioritization of work to ensure that it aligns with divisional priorities.
Drive alignment across the team around continuous improvement methodology and consulting and coaching practices and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain a visual management system that creates transparency to the status of the team’s work and any obstacles they may face.
Provide coaching and feedback to foster professional development and ensure effectively utilization of the Lean Practitioner team’s skills and expertise.
Engage with stakeholders on a regular basis to obtain quality feedback that helps the team improve value delivery.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, leadership, or organizational effectiveness -or- equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Five (5) years of experience with Lean methodology or experience with similar tools, concepts, methodologies and techniques, such as transforming culture, visual management, process management, scientific problem solving, and performance measures.
Experience applying Lean and continuous improvement methodologies within a virtual, service environment is preferred.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in leadership/business management is required.
Management of highly influential business professionals or leaders is required.
Professional certification: One or more certifications in performance consulting, process improvement methodologies and/or change management are desired.
Ability to accommodate occasional travel.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$77,250.00 - $123,500.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
