The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $83,804.80 - $104,756
Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:
Responsible for prioritizing the daily operations of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Networks managed by the Operations Technologies organization, AMI Head End Systems (HES) and other Operations Technologies responsibilities to include network monitoring, scheduling, system maintenance, analysis, and reporting.
Responsible for AMI/ HES network troubleshooting support to meet business requirements and works closely with departments and third parties to resolve issues in a timely manner. Responsible for the accuracy and quality of AMI network data, asset information and system performance reporting. Responsible for prioritizing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Head End Systems, AMI Networks and Operations Technologies team responsibilities related to design, configuration and ad hoc/custom reporting capabilities to meet business requirements. Serves as primary contact for AMI HES users and process owners to understand ongoing data and system automation requirements and enduring integrity of the systems to meet business requirements., Primary contact for data and technical system automation requirements associated with AMI HES, Network, System monitoring, database management system (DBMS), Web Services and other applicable environments within Operations Technologies.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leading role in all data and system automation enhancements requirements in the AMI Head End Systems, AMI Networks and other applications in Operations Technologies. Ensuring systems are implemented to achieve attainment of system performance, availability, recoverability and all compliance requirements.
2. Leading role in solutions and/or configuration changes to meet ongoing end user requirements. Implement changes as required and prepares specifications for approved changes performed by AMI support and Operations and Compliance analysts.
3. Leads support team responsibilities related to configuration and ad hoc/custom reporting capabilities of all HES data and responsible for prioritizing database integration between HES databases to web and program applications, coordinating system upgrades and issue resolution with vendors.
4.Leads coordination with end users and process owners to understand ongoing requirements (changes,
modifications, improvements) and ensuing overall data, system automation, web service, integration integrity with Operations Technologies, IT and business users. Ensuring timely and accurate solutions to the business areas including tracking and addressing unresolved user requests.
5. Lead role in creating and maintaining documentation, change management principles, data integration, data trend analysis, management and integration of different data sources, data mining, training and compliance material.
6. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training, participating in user group meetings and working collectively to support various areas of business.
7. Responsible for supporting Disaster Recovery, storm events and other related duties, and other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience/Education Requirements:
• Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required. Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge of SQL, Linus/Unix/Windows, cron and XML desirable.
• Previous work experience with AMI utilities and AMI network and field management tools desirable.
Skills/Abilities:
• Leadership experience preferred.
• NERC CIP certification as appropriate.
