Part Time Overnight Grocery at SUPERVALU Inc in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota

Job Description:

Cub St. Louis Park at the West End is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time overnight grocery stock position! Grocery Stockers at Cub follows stocking procedures that include load cutting and sorting, display building, and to ensure product availability. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service!

Job Responsibilities:

• Completes assignments in allotted time

• Handles product carefully to avoid damage

• Uses proper case cutting technique

• Ensures correct placement of stock

• Rotates and faces product

• Performs clean up of sales floor and back room

• Assist with customer questions or requests

Job Requirements:

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)

• Able to stand for long periods of time

• Memorization, reading, writing and math

• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service

• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available

• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing

• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays

• Must be 16 years of age and older

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs

• Walking on uneven ground

• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Schedule:

• Varied weekly shifts
• Overnight shifts are between the hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am

• Preference will be given to candidates with open availability
