The selected candidate will work in the Manufacturing and Supply - Vaccines division of Sanofi located in Swiftwater, PA and be a member on the Quality Control Instrument Support (QCIS) team. The team manages the lifecycle processes related to various complex and simple laboratory equipment types and provides support to the QC Laboratory to ensure operational success of the department. The Intern will benefit from mentoring, coaching, and side-by-side engagement with knowledgeable and experienced industry experts. Candidates will receive hands-on learning experience with the opportunity to learn about Analytical Instrumentation related to the testing of vaccines in the highest ranked QC lab within the entire Sanofi global network.

Main Responsibilities:





  • Assignments will vary based on the current projects of the QCIS team. Activities will include, but are not limited to: instrument commissioning, qualification, troubleshooting, maintenance, decommissioning, tracking, use optimization, and documentation management.


  • The candidate will assist QCIS project leaders and will be exposed to a wide variety of technical aspects while being responsible to aid project advancement. The candidate is expected to follow cGMPs and strictly adhere to Sanofi policies and procedures.


  • All necessary safety, and cGMP training will be provided.


  • Our intern program will challenge and develop the candidate and the experience learned during internship can be applied to future career opportunities.

About You




Basic Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or other related scientific field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2026


  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi


  • Must be able to relocate to the Swiftwater, PA office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship


    Must have permanent US work authorization





Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), TEAMS, and SharePoint.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.


  • Willing to work independently.


  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation a plus.
