The University of Pittsburgh School of Law (Pitt Law) seeks to hire part-time Adjunct Faculty to serve as course Instructors in the online Master of Studies in Law (MSL) degree program beginning in academic year 2024-2025.
Instructors are sought for the following courses:
Responsibilities of Course Instructors:
Course Instructors support and guide student progress, provide detailed and substantive feedback on student submissions, and grade assignments, tests, and exams. Instructors use existing online materials, tools, and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications for Course Instructors:
Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing or teaching law.
At least 3 years of experience in the subject matter of the course for which they are engaged.
Experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system and demonstrated skill at online interaction.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Zoom.

Salary: Instructors are paid $5,000 for the course. The School of Law reserves the right not to offer the course in that term if fewer than 6 students are enrolled.
