Keep buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition. Perform routine and seasonal cleaning and grounds duties both indoor and outdoor.
Role & Responsibility
Essential Duties:
Pickup, gather and empty trash in factory and facility grounds.
Service, and stock supplies in restrooms, break rooms and other areas.
Mix paints and paints items using brush, roller or spray equipment or cans.
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Operates powered sweepers, powered scrubbers, lift trucks, power tools, turf equipment, vehicles, and hand tools.
Must maintain annual OSHA requirements and training.
Must maintain training in lock out/tag out, aerial lift, Hazmat, blood borne pathogens, and others as needed.
Must maintain a forklift license.
Notifies supervisors concerning the need for repairs to buildings, facilities, or equipment.
Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
Keeps work areas clean, orderly and follows 5S schedules.
Must fill out (manually or electronically) reporting sheets, parts orders, work orders, report boards and other related documentation
Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management
Other Duties (Applicable to Johnson Creek):
Assists in the instruction and training as requested by supervisor.
Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production
Maintenance
Clean buildings and facility grounds including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, washing.
Clean shop equipment, including but not limited to jigs, robot cells and fans throughout factory.
Clean windows, partitions, rack, railings, and other facility items
Mix, fill and use cleaning solutions.
Mow and maintain lawns and grounds using zero-turn movers, string trimmers, and other turf equipment as needed.
Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, production areas, and parking areas, using, snow shovels, snow blowers, brooms and spread snow melting Chemicals.
Inspects various items in factory, including but not limited to, eyewash stations and ladders.
Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and other equipment to prepare facilities for events, banquets, and meetings.
Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment and facilities.
Job Requirement
Education Required: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Experience preferred: Previous maintenance, grounds, or custodial experience.
Travel Required: < 10%.
Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly.
Physical Demands:
The overall level of work is defined as medium duty.
Employees are expected to exert 21 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 11 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:
Work is performed in a shop environment and outdoors.
Conditions include proximity to moving and mechanical parts, exposure to high noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection and exposure to vibration through the use of tools and equipment. Additionally, work is occasionally performed outside including but not limited to exposure to pollen, insects, heat, sun, rain, cold, and snow.
Subject to air and skin exposure to chemical hazards and atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, and gases.
Required to wear personal protective equipment.
