Department: Communication Sciences & Disorders

College/Division: College of Behavioral & Community Sciences

Salary Plan: Temporary, up to 20 hours per week

Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $40-$60 per hour, depending on experience

The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders are searching for certified Sign Language Interpreters to provide interpreting between individuals using a spoken language and individuals using a signed language in a variety of settings.

Hands On USF was created in the fall of 2010 and is available to the University of South Florida and our community partners. We are fortunate to be able to provide top-notch Interpreting services while educating tomorrow's Interpreting professionals. We pair Interpreting Interns with professional, experienced, nationally certified Sign Language Interpreters to fulfill any interpreting request.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 5 year's interpreting experience

Preferred Qualifications: National Interpreter Certification
