Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Hybrid Tax Manager to join our team. This role is designed for a professional who can navigate the complexities of tax regulations while providing strategic guidance and financial insights to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on client service and a thorough understanding of various tax structures, including C-Corps, S-Corps, and Partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for individual and corporate clients
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships
Conduct tax research and analysis to assist clients with tax planning and strategy
Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and reorganizations
Collaborate with audit teams to ensure compliance and address any tax audit issues
Mentor and train junior tax staff on tax processes and best practices
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on corporate and partnership tax
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance issues
Experience with tax planning strategies for C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
