We are seeking a Tax Senior to join our growing team!
What You Will Be Doing
Perform tax reviews for Partnership, Individual, S-Corp, and C-Corp tax returns. Minimal preparation for more complex returns, as needed.
Assume responsibility for tax returns and delegates to the various tax preparers as deemed necessary.
Participate actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts
Communicate effectively with clients and meet critical deadline
Participate in firm's practice development efforts
What You Need for this Position
CPA required.
1+ years of management experience
5+ years of extensive knowledge of the tax laws for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships and Individuals
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ability to adhere to given budgets and time deadlines
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
Ability to manage own time and the time of others
Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work
Capacity to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of how to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to train, orient and mentor staff
