The Role
Conducts tests and completes data collection activities of power supplies and component systems. Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing issues that impact the performance or validity of testing.


Responsibilities:


• Conducts tests and data collection of R&D power supplies and component systems.


• Designs R&D components and test fixtures.


• Prepares and test samples according to both internal and third-party specifications.


• Performs installation and repairs of R&D test equipment and components.


• Conducts test of R&D products with established policies and procedures.


• Maintains accurate records of test results.


• Reports results to development team.


• Operates R&D machinery and equipment in a safe manner.


• Performs electrical and mechanical checks of R&D heating equipment.


• Provides status update of all ongoing projects.


• Other duties as assigned through identified and established process improvements.
Additional Responsibilities


• May be required to cross train and demonstrate competency on all essential job functions of the department working at different workstations as production needs require.


• Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; training and teaching others.


• Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area free of excess materials.


• Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.



Requirements:




Associate Science in Electronics required and more than one (1) year of applicable technician experience.


• Ability to train and give work direction to less skilled and experienced technicians or other personnel.


• Ability to make independent decisions on matters having an important influence on the outcome of assigned projects.
