Must-Haves:
Cable installation
HS or equivalent diploma
1+ year of experience in any of the following or similar technical or vocational roles
Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, Technical Project Management Preferred qualifications
Fiber optic troubleshooting
Network Protocols
Background in networking, fiber cabling, data centers, telecom
Plusses:
Data center experience Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+,) Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Routers, Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls
