Duties and Responsibilities
Review project plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance.
Evaluate plans for constructability and cost-efficiency; address inconsistencies.
Document and distribute meeting notes and publish weekly progress reports.
Update project schedules and assist with trade contractor scope development.
Collaborate with the superintendent on schedules and milestones.
Maintain logs for RFIs, shop drawings, and change requests.
Inspect construction activities and verify compliance with specifications.
Follow and enforce safety policies; report unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, or the equivalent education and experience.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
The ability to read and understand blueprints.
Knowledgeable in OSHA and company safety standards.
Maintains integrity and ethical conduct.
Preferred: 1 year of field experience.
