Job Title: Senior Lead Engineering Technician (Nuclear Projects)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Engineering Technician to support nuclear projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with Revit and Bluebeam software, structural engineering, and a background in nuclear projects. US Citizenship is required for this role due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Support: Modify or create deliverables, applying basic engineering principles and design practices to develop complex design concepts. Provide technical guidance and direction to other engineering professionals.
Engineering Standards: Ensure deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Utilize knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and company policies to guide design processes.
Quality & Continuous Improvement: Promote quality within the project/group/section. Ensure consistency in design inputs and assist in maintaining compliance with project-specific standards. Responsible for drawing control and maintaining historical records.
Engineering Production: Apply engineering principles in developing moderately complex design concepts and deliverables. Handle technical assignments and provide guidance to other professionals. Perform design calculations, material quantity estimates, and record-keeping.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with other design group personnel to exchange project information. May support field activities and communicate project requirements, progress, and schedules.
Client Focus: Assist in identifying key client interests and drivers, ensuring these concerns are communicated to the project team.
Knowledge Sharing & Innovation: Assist in developing design standards and process improvements. Mentor team members and share knowledge in specialized areas.
People Management: Support functions related to performance management, recognition, and career development of supervised personnel.

Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, systems, and document control

Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles related to the assigned discipline
Education and Experience:
Preferred Education: Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in engineering design, particularly in structural and nuclear projects
